Who is responsible

Lily-Pad is a voluntary venture run by Phill, based in Northborough, supporting charities and community groups in Stamford and the surrounding area. Phill is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. For questions, email admin@lily-pad.uk or call 01780 897970.

Using this website

This static website has no accounts, contact form, advertising or analytics. The website files do not set cookies or store information in your browser. Fonts, photographs and illustrations are served with the site.

Krystal hosts the website files. Bunny.net delivers cached copies through its content delivery network. To deliver pages and maintain the service, these providers may process technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and browser information.

When you contact me

If you email or phone me, I receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, organisation and question. I use it to respond, discuss the help you need and keep relevant notes about support.

Please avoid sending passwords, recovery codes or personal records in an initial enquiry. If further information is needed, I can discuss a suitable way to share it. Project work involving other people’s personal information may need separate arrangements.

Why I use this information

I rely on legitimate interests to respond to enquiries, provide the support requested and keep the website working securely. These interests are providing useful IT guidance and maintaining a reliable service.

Where processing is necessary to arrange or carry out a contract with you, I rely on that contract. Information needed to meet a legal requirement, such as applicable accounting duties for paid work, is processed on the basis of that legal obligation.

Website and email providers

Krystal provides the website hosting and Bunny.net provides delivery through its CDN. Their privacy information is available from Krystal and Bunny.net.

Messages sent to admin@lily-pad.uk pass through SimpleLogin for forwarding into my Proton Mail inbox. These services process the message and delivery information needed to provide email. See SimpleLogin’s privacy information and Proton Mail’s privacy information.

Bunny.net operates an international delivery network, so website requests may be handled outside the UK. The linked provider information explains their processing arrangements. Contact me if you would like more information about the providers used and relevant international-transfer safeguards.

How long information is kept

I keep enquiries and support notes while they are needed to answer your question or provide support. I review inactive records at least once a year and delete personal information that is no longer needed.

Relevant information may be kept for longer where it is needed for ongoing work, an unresolved issue or an applicable legal or accounting requirement. Technical records held by website and email providers are also subject to their service settings and retention arrangements.

Your questions and rights

You can contact me about information you have shared, ask for a correction or raise a concern. Depending on the circumstances, data protection law gives you rights to access, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information and, where applicable, receive it in a portable form.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
